Woodstock City Council funds development of Taylor Randahl Memorial Trails

The Woodstock City Council passed the fiscal year 2010 budget which includes the development of the Taylor Randahl Memorial Mountain Bike Trails at Olde Rope Mill Park.  The $150,000 budgeted by the City Council should also allow for the development of a second trail on the north side of Little River once the pedestrian/bike bridge is installed later this year.  City representatives are currently working with SORBA to send both trail layouts to the Corps of Engineers for approval followed by construction by late summer.

The Taylor Randahl Memorial Mountain Bike Trails, along with Blankets Creek, will make southern Cherokee County the pre-eminent destination for mountain biking in the southeast.
